# Raphael E. Rosenbaum, MD

> Raphael E. Rosenbaum, MD, is an ophthalmologist and uveitis specialist providing eye care from four offices in the tri-state New York area.

Dr. Rosenbaum earned his medical degree at New York Medical College and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center/Stony Brook University, where he served as chief resident. He further specialized in ocular immunology and inflammatory diseases during fellowship training at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.

His extensive surgical training encompasses complex cataract extraction, glaucoma surgery, retinal surgery, cornea surgery, and the placement of retinal implants, along with laser surgeries for glaucoma and retina. He is actively involved in ophthalmic research, contributing to peer-reviewed articles and national conferences, and is board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Rosenbaum also contributes to medical education as an attending ophthalmologist at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Nassau University Medical Center. He serves as the Associate Program Director and Chief of Uveitis Service at Nassau University Medical Center.
